About Me
When I was growing up and asked what I wanted to be when I grow up, I always said the same thing, "I want to be a mommy and a teacher."
Both dreams came true. I attending S.I. U. Edwardsville and obtained my teacher's certificate and married the man of my dreams, Stan Wright. We have two grown children and six grandkids and one greatgrandkid. We all live on a farm outside of Red Bud.
I grew up in Red Bud. My mon and dad both taught school. I went to Red Bud Elementary and High School. Both my coteachers, Mrs. Roehrkasse and Mrs. Lerch did too.
My favorite subjects to teach are math and social studies. My dad was an accountant and my mom took us traveling when we were little. That is where I got an interest in both subjects.
I love to read. I usually read two to three books at a time. Of course my favorite book is the bible.
I love teaching. I get so excited at the start of every year. I wouldn't want to do anything else. Kids are my life!
